Christmas, was it?
OK so...
Last weekend I hosted a Japanese girl who hailed from Shizouka, and who had an English vocab that ranged up to 10 words, so I got to brush up on my sign language skills. Aisa Shiraishi, she is. Stayed for only a night, and that was pretty much enough for me, considering the language barrier made it almost impossible for either of us to convey our messages. At one point of time I had to resort to using babelfish online. BABELFISH ONLINE. Took her to KLCC on Sunday and I didn't even know how to tell her about it. Fiz came awhile after and we spent time talking in the park and walked around until mummy came, waited for mummy to finish her shopping and all. Mum was winking at Fiz and sayanging him and all I was omg la mum.
Christmas eve was spent with my family and family friends at Auntie Sue's although most of the time I spent with Jason and some friends, playing chor tai ti with a deck of oversized playing cards, singing about 3 Christmas carols then going on to enhancing the Christmas mood with Ordinary People by John Legend and the bohemian rhapsody. How Christmassy right? There was Mark and his beatles style long hair with his English accent and an incredibly contagious giggle that comes after he says something funny. Then there was Shaun, hes like some freaky maestro who plays the guitar and the piano impeccably AND he sings , and I so envy. But I make up for my lack of talent with musical instruments with great music taste and a good voice.
Then again they say that self praise isn't praise at all.
And YAY pressies. Unfortunately I didn't feel the excitement of ripping open wrappers this year.
Moving on, Christmas day was spent with Fizzy! He ignited my Christmas spirit on the day itself when I was completely void of any excitement towards Christmas, I didn't enjoy wrapping pressies like I used to, I didn't even set up the Christmas tree at home like I did every year, I didn't even send out Christmas cards to everyone when I handmade and sent out about 30 last year, and worst still, I didn't even pick up my phone to send out a few Christmas wishes. Christmas to me this year was just another holiday but he made it feel special. Christmas this year would be the day that I let my guard and ego down, letting him know how I felt and how I was affected about the things that go on between us, around us, about us and how we're all affected by it in some way, even if we try to remain completely deaf. And he would be there to comfort me every step of the way and keep my assured that everything will be okay when things do, in time, get difficult, which is pretty much inevitable as every relationship should have they're ups and downs kan, its the problems that teach us how to bond, understand and deal better, and its the problems that allow us to learn more about each other no?
26th I spent with Shawn at Mid Valley, talking, shopping, accompanying each other and playing foosball. Well at least Shawn played, I fooled around mostly. Bumped into Kevin and ian wong in brewball, played with them abit. Watched AVP2 which was awesome, we were adding sound effects to the movie and linking scenes to dota heroes and shit, which was really funny. Like when the predator would go invisible he would be all stealth assasin invisi invisi! and I would be laughing my ass off WHILE shivering in my seat coz it was so cold. Halfway through the movie this dude suddenly came, stepping on my feet and blocking my view and disrupting my concentration on the movie, occupying the seat next to me which was supposed to be empty. I showed my annoyance by glaring at him in the dark then it suddenly dawned on me that he looked insanely familiar and when I took at second look in the dark it turned out to be FIZZY OMG. Surprise. =D
My dad can be a real ass sometimes right, like he would be the most unreasonable, most inconsiderate ever and he would call me unreasonable and inconsiderate. I guess it runs in the blood. Oh well. Sorry daddy but I only learn from the best, and the best to you, is you. Good thing, that god complex of yours. When you're nice, you're the funnest dad to me, but when you're not, we can't wait to move out. And most of the time you're not.
Fizzy needs some pampering now, down with a high fever and all. 2 shots of Jose should do the trick right? =P Anyways if I only I was there with him I'd wrap him up in blankets and keep him warm and loved and rested.
Tickle-Me-Elmo
Saw this on Tien Yi's page, the first thing I got when I saw it was this notion that laugh-my-ass-off-elmo was designed for unfunny lamers who tell jokes that humour nobody, therefore needing a mechanical laughing elmo that would laugh at their jokes haha.
With that being said, I WANT ONE! Then I would tell it jokes all day and push its laugh button.
