Ah yes
I haven't been sharing my music selections for a while now.
Anyways I felt it spark again, after the midnight tunes of the Led Zeppelin's II album that I got for Christmas from someone I consider a dear aunt, which of course I requested for, since pink t-shirts/tanktops/lipgloss/purse no longer remain a thoughtful gift for a girl my age, then again those weren't very appreciated back then either considering the fact that I never liked pink.
Then again gifts are never easy to shop for, so anything pink or girly always makes an easy way out as a gift for a girl. I, on the other hand prefer practical things like backpacks or good water bottles, because I'm fussy. I make sure nobody gets me make-up because I wouldn't like receiving something that doesn't suit my skin, I dont like getting books coz it always turns out to be chiclit, no perfume coz I might not agree with the scent, thought I do appreciate music but nobody seems to be able to pick out the good albums anymore =(
So to make sure my relatives and family friends dont make a waste out of their money, I shamelessly drop hints. Whoever invented the "what would you like for Christmas?" question anyway? bad idea. This year it was "something turquoise." and "Led Zeppelin episode II or IV" and then it was "cash."
So I pretty much know what all my gifts are. And I love them all! hahaha Christmas brat.

I totally agree with you on this. As much as "Is The Thought That Counts" but still i prefer receiving practical gifts or gifts which I will not felt reluctant receiving it. Hints are good but not everybody gets it. ahhaha So maybe...just maybe.. if they were to gift me Money, that's the best ! I'll go buy it myself. haha
