Festive Spirits

Was Deepavali yesterday and I went over to Kokilas for lunch. Felt kinda awkward coz there was sooo many of her relatives and friends there. Food was great though. I wore a pottu! It was orange, to match the colour of my top. Unfortunately I don't have a picture. :(

I've always loved traditional indian costumes, with their intricate beading and embroidery and designs. Some can be so breathtaking! So what I did was, for the night, I wore a lengga skirt with a black top, donned another pottu, this time green so match my make up, and I layered myself with big beady earrings! Love it.
